This role is for a growing business near Ely with a varied finance and administration function.
About the role
The position is suited to an organised administrator who enjoys finance processes, accurate records and supporting a busy office environment. The role combines general office administration with finance support, including customer enquiries, CRM updates, order processing, purchase invoices, sales invoices, credit control and cashbook reconciliation. It offers hybrid working after training, but candidates should be able to commute during the initial office-based period.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Maintain customer and business information in the CRM system
- Process customer orders and general enquiries
- Process purchase invoices and support payment runs
- Raise sales invoices and carry out credit control activity
- Reconcile supplier statements and cashbook transactions
- Support finance colleagues with ad hoc administration
Candidate profile
- Previous office administration experience
- Accounts or finance environment experience
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Flexible, positive approach and ability to work as part of a team
- Able to commute during office-based training
