About the role
The role is suited to a reliable HGV Class 2 driver who understands road safety, can keep to planned schedules and presents a professional attitude with customers and colleagues. You will be expected to complete planned weekday driving work, follow driver compliance requirements and stay in contact with transport contacts throughout the shift. Occasional Saturday work may be available, and overtime is paid at the applicable rate.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Class 2 driving duties across the local operating area
- Complete weekday driving work with occasional Saturday availability
- Follow road safety, CPC and tachograph requirements
- Communicate clearly with transport contacts during the shift
- Maintain punctuality and a professional standard of service
Candidate profile
- Valid HGV Class 2, Category C licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working with transport schedules
- Moffett driving experience is desirable but not essential
